Hiya everybody!

Looks like everyone (except maybe Mike, he tries) hasn't been blogging that much recently.
Well lets see if I can get it started up again, SINCE ITS FUN TO KNOW WHAT MY BUDDIES ARE UP TO!

As for me, not much has happened. Just lazin' around and doing some job hunting.
Sooo.... BLAH BLAH BLAH.

As for what stuff I've been looking at:

ROCK BAND


Woooo! Dibs on the drum set!
Looking forward to this baby and hoping to save some money by using the guitar I get with GH3 when that comes out.
We'll have to book some shows so that we get everyone together to play this online.

MOTHER 3


In case you're a noob and don't know what this is about I'll explain.
Quite a few years ago in the age of the SNES, an amazing RPG was release called Earthbound.
This game was named Mother 2 in Japan since they also had a game called Mother for the NES (its a series, YO!).
Earthbound was known for its great story line and very unusual humor (read up more if you like or go play it, I don't want to explain its amazingness anymore).

Well to the main point, Mother 3 was released for the GBA but only in Japan. Thus, those of us that can't read Japanese ( LIKE MYSELF) are unable to fully enjoy this game.
But the good news is that a group of Earthbound/Mother fans are translating the game for us Englishers.
So if anyone is interested in the progress of Mother 3 or just like to hear how much of a pain it is to actually translate a game, head over to mother3.fobby.net and take a look at some of the updates they've posted.

As for what games I'm currently playing....

Due to my buying of an Xbox 360 a few months ago, I've been having fun buying up some tasty games included in its collection:

Crackdown
Burnout Revenge
Viva Pinata
Chromehounds
Dead Rising
Gears of War
G.R.A.W.
Bioshock
(plus a bunch of Xbox Live Arcade games)

For anyone picking up a 360, I would suggest getting Crackdown and Dead Rising as a good start.

Thats all I can think of right now, but hopefully I won't forget about the blog again and post some more.

HE STOLE MY PANTS!

After getting my Wii, I decided to register it and order some component cables.
I had to create a new My Nintendo account since I didn't remember having one before.
So after successfully creating a new one and adding my information, I noticed there was some existing info in my account.



Somehow Nintendo knew way back I was a subscriber to Nintendo Power since 1996
(at least under my own name, my bro and I have issues all the way back to #1).
I was just surprised that they tracked that data from so long ago and somehow associated it with my new account.


Ah, memories of a great magazine before ads cluttered the pages like cancer...

Now I feel OLD...

I dare you to hug it...

I'm sure the masses are surprised...
