1,000 Miles: May Update

Progress. Slow progress.

John visited Atlanta a few weeks ago and had a brilliant thought -- a deficit line (orange above). The deficit and projected lines have helped me focus. You'll notice the steady increase in miles over the last few weeks. Even chipping away at the backlog a little.

Today, I'll run my two hundredth mile. Though, at this point in the year I should be at well over three hundred miles. In order to knock out the backlog I need to run about 3.3 miles a day between now and the end of the year.

It will take a little extra effort but I'm going to try to get the deficit line below one hundred this month.

It's been a long time and the year is almost done, any update to this? I hope you made it!

Closing in. I'm still about a hundred miles out.

Which seems like a lot but I'm averaging about six miles a day. I should make it if I step up the pace a little.
